Park fighting a mini door mat fluke using 6'9" Black Hole Challenger Bank 691UL rod out of Montauk, NY yesterday.
The blank weighs only 1.8 oz. But the video shows the rod has some backbone even it is thin and light.
Park landed 4 fluke in 6 - 9 lb range using the same setup.
The rod is designed for fluke bucktailing, but it seems the rod is OK for deep water fluking as he used 6 oz sinker with hi-lo rig.
