Totally agree with the methodology, it works!

I notice you have treble hooks on the end, we agree on that as well, but how do you stop the jig from catching the bottom when you drop it down?  Maybe the ocean floor here is more foul then at your end but it is painful when you feel the bottom, try to lift it before you start your wind and you find you are pulling the boat down?

Singles are less likely to get hooked, but also less likely to hook the fish.

When you wind like that it is amazing how the line suddenly goes slack as the Yellowtail takes the jig at full speed and overtakes it with the lure in his mouth.
