Title: last couple of boxed ones for the year
Post by: milne on December 30, 2018, 04:49:27 AM
I know, I said the last one was my last for the year,,,
BUT, it's hard to restrain myself.
Currently My reels are sitting on the mantle in our 3rd bedroom, now come office.
Got a second boxed Sea ford, second of the boxes from the left, with a nice Seaford reel inside.
And, while I was concentrating on Pre war, I just had to get the 150 nib, still with the tag on the reel and spare spool etc, maybe it might be
Swap fodder for a Pre war one ????
Anyway, I'm looking at a 50 year  collection next week, which has been picked by a few dealers, but still 150 Penn reels and probably another 5-600 other brand reels to look through, so 2019 might bring a few surprises hopefully.
It's been a blast since joining up here, thanks to all for welcoming me and the advice given etc,
Hope you all have a great new year to finish off the festive season.

Col

This one is easy, you just need a double, triple, quadruple, etc, etc, etc mantle installed ::)
Enjoy,

Hi Bob,
         Ironically, since you mentioned that,
Production of some extra shelves is on the short list   ;D

Pretty sure that pic was stolen off Brian Purrone's website. I know I've seen that before.

Yep, Brian and I have spoken, but not recently. He's over at ORCA as well.
