I ran across a great deal on eBay. Avet LX 6.0 Silver. Brand new in the box $149.00! With more than 10 available! There were more than 3 (low feedback) sellers using the same pictures, price, descriptions, and as near as I can tell more than 60 reels were sold at this amazing price. I'm following the sellers in order to read their feedback. Hope no one here got fooled. I sure wanted one, but a little research in the sold listings turned up a pretty costly scam.

Same thing was being done with Penn Fathoms, only that was really hard to believe at $30 brand new. I was dumb enough to try it, just to see what would happen. Then it occurred to me that I gave scammers my info in the process.
Never got so much as a tracking number (big surpise). ::)
Ebay did eventually refund my money, but who knows what has become of my info.
Yep some folks just can't resist them "to good to be true" type deals. $19 Ray Bans, $24 gopros, $1700 4X4 RVs. Sometimes it's tough but nothing and I mean nothing replaces the leg work of looking into sellers feedback, reviews comparable sales.
