Gonna fire up the smoker tomorrow and smoke a bunch tuna chunks. Got the tuna marinating overnight. Tomorrow it'll be a couple hours over charcoal and apple wood at about 180°

Tools and Lubricants / Dewalt 20v Max Brushless Drill...
Last post by pjstevko - April 20, 2025, 03:52:33 AM
I bought Alexis a Costco Yardistry 8x7 Cedar greenhouse for our anniversary and decided to treat myself to a new drill/driver set to help with assembly. Lowes was running a good sale and I got the Dewalt 20v Max Brushless Drill/Driver combo for $169! It'll be a bit until I actually assemble the greenhouse as our current greenhouse is in use.  Assemble is probably gonna take me a full weekend whenever I get around to it...

For reference, if the e is the one I think it is, this used to be one of Bryan Young's reels.

Having AR without a star drag would be dangerous,  When you crack it open everything will be obvious.

Nice find on the seeker, those ex rods are hard to find, not many people let them go

When I arrived late to Day at the Docks, ironically, it was just sitting there on the rack of used rods.

The bonus for me that day was that my youngest daughter enjoyed the boat ride on the Producer. So, I might have a new fishing buddy. Her first trip is this summer.
Major win-win there!

Thanks

Fishing Tips and Techniques / Re: Favorite Frog Lure?
Last post by nelz - April 17, 2025, 08:42:04 PM
I dunno, most of these "frog" lures look nothing like an actual frog. I had a frog lure that had actual rubber legs, not tassels, but they got bitten off.
