Can anyone show the me the drag stack order of the 220? Every schematic I find is of poor quality and I cannot see it clearly.. Thanks, Joe.
here you go!
Technically, Alan's is correct also --
The principles for a typical drag stack are the same across most reels.
Newells, Penns, ABU's, OC's, and hundreds of others -- both spinners & conventionals.
Here is one for a "220" DAM Quick Spinner.
From the bottom up --
Spring washer
Metal keyed washer
Resistex washer
Metal drive plate washer
Resistex washer
Metal keyed washer
Toothed lock washer
Lightly Greased with Cal's drag grease CF's -- can be substituted for the hard Resistex drag washers. Although, on a spinner with a plastic spool -- the Resistex is very tough and long lasting. The CF's would just be a personal choice -- not really necessary.
Best, Fred
oops, i didn't realize it for a spinner. should have looked at the board..... :-\
Thanks Fred...you're the best! Thanks Alan, Its the thought that counts ;D
