Title: Trinidad 20A removal anti reverse roller
Post by: Dakine198 on May 26, 2017, 01:05:24 PM
In attempting to remove the roller bearing from right side plate I have found out that the roller bearing is a different configuration than what is typically found in my bass reels. This is more of a  "caged" style bearing.
Normally I would take a socket and be able to oush it out of a bass reel. When I did it with my Trinidad a nylon type cage and the rollers came out but the outer collar remained in the housing. Searched the boards for any info on removing this new to me style of AR bearing, unable to find anything. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

The Anti reverse bearing in the new Trinidad 20A is different than the one pictured in the above post.
Thank you though.

any possibility that the outside stainless steel case is still stuck in the side plate?
