Title: Removing Newell Knob From Handle
Post by: russ1962 on March 19, 2021, 05:11:20 PM
I have an old Newell handle with a knob that has the plastic end cap to hide the screw and want to put the knob on a different handle.
I've tried to gently remove the plastic end cap from the knob but can't get it to budge.
Is there a way to remove the end cap without destroying it?

I have not seen one come out without damage.

I drilled two small holes in it, made a hooking device and tried to pull it out like a bearing.
It didn't work as I had hoped.
