Title: Shakespeare multiplier 2153 & 2152 value
Post by: Leckbass on December 24, 2019, 02:10:58 PM
Guys, I have a couple of these old Shakespeare reels, one is a 2153 and the other one is at 2152. Both of the reels are in excellent condition. I'm thinking about selling them, how much do you think they are worth?

One of the great things about messing around with old fishing reels as a hobby is that you can buy them for next to nothing.  One of the bad things about messing around with old fishing reels as a hobby is that they bring so little it is hardly worth the effort to put them up for sale.

Those Shakespeare also came in green.  If you had both the red and green you could set them out for Christmas.

LB, my take on those two would be about $20 each in good shape.  Not much of a market for them.  Bill

They were made in Japan.

Is it good or bad that they're made in Japan?

Since I couldn't find much information on any of them I was hoping for 20 bucks a piece as well
