I sure almost didn't survive the AlanTani website drought. My freaking McAfee software would not allow me to visit this site. Its taken me MONTHS to figure out how to get around it. Well belated Happy New Year to everyone and may your lines be tight in 2017.
wondered where you went...
I believe McAfee is out of India. Maybe time to update to a better company.
Welcome back!
Glad you got it sorted out
Welcome Back Clay!
I was wondering where you went just the other day, welcome back.

Look at it this way...
You should have plenty of reading to do :)
John
Welcome back, I still see you on the 100ffc. though so life is still good :)
Welcome back !
Sal
Yeah I have a lot of reading to do for sure. I have to start remembering to take pics while fishing (I rarely ever do that) so I can share an upcoming trip. I'm going to get a chance to fish the Keys and I have a lot of reading to do from the folks that regularly fish those waters.

trend micro!!!!
After scratching my head for several minutes not being able to figure out what you were talking about I googled "trend micro". Thanks I'll check that out. I thought you were possibly giving advice on fishing in the Keys. I was circumfused and discombobbleeyed.
McAfee...ugh, that and Norton. Drove me nuts.
We use Avast now.
Good to see you back Clay. I gave up on Norton and just use Windows 10 defender. It's free and comes with the system. Dominick

I made a mistake and got McAfee, it is a POS and it blocks my pad access to our board.
Kaspersky Internet Security, never had a problem.
Mike.
I've used ESET Nod32 for many years with three teenagers on the computers with no problems.....They have some really good bundle deals....Bill
I had Norton for a few years. I tried Avast. I tried Trend Micro. For whatever reason, they all went by the wayside. I do remember that Norton was a memory hog, and slowed my machines down terribly, but that was many years ago. For the past few years I've been using McAfee. It's been working seamlessly for me. I use it mostly with Firefox web browser, and I've had no issue's getting anywhere on the web. I sorta forget it's working for me actually. I have it set to do scans at night when I'm asleep, and it has a firewall, security suite. So far, I've been very happy with it.
Clay I just thought you went on a long fishing trip!
Welcome back.
Best
