Title: NOS Penn 710 Greenie
Post by: Crab Pot on August 06, 2023, 07:46:18 PM
But new to me.

Never been mounted to a seat, has everything from the factory in it but the grease tube.

It was locked up when I looked at it due to the stock grease hardening up but after leaving it in the sun while I looked at other stuff it freed up. I guess there is one benefit of being near a 100 degrees before noon...

She'll still need a good cleaning and regrease though.

$40  :d

One question I forgot to ask is if Penn sent there reels with line on them?

That white tape on the spool has been there awhile.

That white tape on the spool has been there awhile.

Typically, in the good old days of walk in tackle shops & sporting goods stores —- they would load the line on the spool as part of the purchase price.

Great combo.

Few folks know how versatile and tough a Penn 710 is.

Best, Fred
