Post by: Rush on January 27, 2023, 12:58:10 AM
Looking for a source for left and right spools bearings for the CS500 series.  Went to Smooth Drag but nothing is listed.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

I took a mic to the bearing set
5.92 x 12 x 3.98
3 x 9.52 x 4

Looking at a set on ebay from hbr bearing out of Florida.  Anybody have any experience with their equipment?

so, you're looking at 6x12x4 and 3x10x4.  go with any stainless steel bearing you find.

I've bought 2 sets from HPR so far. Both were high quality and spun like a top.

I'd go with ABEC 5's rather than 7's. Too tight of tolerances coupled with salt isn't a good thing.
