Hi
I have a bulk spool of shimano power in sold as 88lb   or 0.41mm here in the UK how many meters should I get on my reel if done with all braid

MAK1, below is a line estimator, if you know the capacity of your reel in a specific line size this will get you close to what you will need.....Bill

one thing iv noticed mono/braid is very often never the thickness it is stated at

It's rated at 550yds of 20# (.42mm) so you "should" get at least that much 80# spectra at .41mm.
