Title: Penn 4/0 & Electramate help
Post by: BryanC on December 17, 2015, 04:14:40 PM
I picked up an Electramate 440XP on craigslist yesterday.  When I got home I noticed that the drive socket (not sure if this is the correct term) does not appear like it will mate up to the 4/0 gear sleeve.  It is a round opening and has a slot at the bottom.  The slot is not wide enough for the end of the gear sleeve though.  Is there a piece missing?  Something that goes between the drive socket on the Electramate and the gear sleeve on the reel?  I have not been able to locate a schematic or parts list for the Electramate online.

Thanks in advance!

Yes there is another piece that screw onto the gear sleeve to accept the electric drive. It is SS.

Thanks.  I figured it must be something like that.  I will call Electramate and order that part.
