My dilemma : I am trying to mount a (non-SEA)Mak 10 knob onto my 600 Valiant 2 spd handle arm. (Note: I really like the size of this smaller t-knob)
The cutout/notch out on the Okuma knob is different than the cut-out/notch out on the handle arm of the Valiant.
Am i wasting my time here with trying to make this knob work ?
OR
Can I just drill out the Accurate handle arm so the Okuma knob pin can sit inside of newly drilled hole ? Will it still spin freely if i do this ?
Thanks, Gerry from San Diego, CA
i can think of a couple of ways that this would work, but all solutions would require an entire afternoon with a small file, and maybe a bench grinder and drill press. ideally, you'd have to file out a square hole in the accurate arm to match the square peg of the okuma grip. :-\
Thanks Alan.....
Is this something I can hire your services for ?
If so, l am interested.
