Title: Shimano Corvalus CVL300
Post by: barkley1956 on January 27, 2011, 04:05:08 PM
I'm looking to replace the one-way bearing in in a CVL300. The bearing is marked INA F-220704 made in Germany. Dealers want about $90 for the bearing already pressed in a holder. Any thoughts? Thx!

i use impact sockets to support the underside of the side plate and then tap out the anti-reverse bearing from the top.  then you have to tap in a replacement.  it's really a two man job.  the side plate has to be positioned perfectly or you will bang out the bearing and damage the side plate in the process.  and a new one costs $90!!!!!!!!!!!!
