Trying to get a jump on the October trip.  What size titanium wire is used for wahoo?  Bill

I'd bring a few sizes, not terribly expensive and doesn't take up much space. Heavy if they're biting good, light if they're finicky.  Fish a jig on the slide if they'll let you, bait once the boat settles in

For bait? Knot-2-Kinky 35 or 45#. 2/0 J hook, ring or small swivel. Crimped with an AFW #1L single crimp three times through the crimp. A 12-16" long leader is fine. I use the smallest hole in a Nicopress 17ba crimper.

40 to 50 pound.
