This film took a bronze in the New York Film Festival.

Note:
Killing billfish to make a living may be a bit controversial in the states.  This fishery primarily targets Black Marlin and Sailfish which are commercially targeted in much of the world's oceans.  This may not be politically correct here in the US, but please bear in mind stock assessments suggest the billfish populations remain robust in this part if the world's oceans.  So the billfish fisheries here are considered sustainable.

A friend and fellow fisheries biologist just came back from a trip where he rode these boats for a week deploying PSAT tags on Black Marlin in an International Billfish Research collaborative project.  He has some pretty cool footage and pictures of these guys in action.
