Title: Shimano B-Mag 1001
Post by: Woody213 on March 11, 2020, 05:06:38 PM
I recently picked up one of these for $15 on an Ugly Stik (a spinning one for some reason). I was thinking about hydro dipping it (and my black max gen2). I just wondered if there's any reason not to? They seem to be fairly cheap online so I dont think it's anything special but wanted to ask before doing it.

The picture is just a stock one for reference.

is yours as nice?  normally, I'd guess the graphite frames are less collectible,

but yours is very early; "vintage-shaped"; and a LEFTY, so who knows

A bit of wear on the graphics and the brake and drag have some corrosion, Im guessing from being used on saltwater, but the internals are clean and the plastic is in good shape.
