Title: Grease Or Not
Post by: Rivverrat on February 09, 2018, 11:40:58 PM
I've run into different protocols when running into this.
Does any one know for certain if there is supposed to be grease between these. This an Andros 12.

The reason I'm even asking is because of the composite spacer in the low speed gear that makes contact the hgh speed gear

Thanks Keith. I did figure if greasing here wasnt necessary It would certainly cause less trouble being wrong doing this than the other way around.  Reel needs to go out tomorrow & Okuma is closed for the day... Jeff

Thats pretty much what I've done as a rule on my gun stuff. But there are rare occasions when doing this when composite / silicone etc. bushings, spacers, O rings are used grease can be cause an issue... Jeff
