I got this 308 combo(Taiwan)at Goodwill last year fer $15,they have gone up too.Anywho,this grandaddy bream slammed a minnow straight down at the dock,I had to share.I released him to get bigger,but his brother same size took a minnow and swallowed the hook ,I released him to the grease...

Nice combo, James —

Is that a Bluegill?  Those big ones make nice slabs.

I really love 308's & 408'.

Got a few to build out.

The High Speed Dark Blue 408 is my favorite.

Got 5 or 6 of those to build.

Yep it's a bluegill on steroids,that Taiwan 308 is smooth Fred .I leave it on the dock out in the weather,seems to be a fish magnet.It seems like we have all these nice rods/reels and end up catching more fish on rigs like this someone got rid of .
