Title: Penn 113 to 113H - Question
Post by: Big Tim on April 13, 2014, 01:38:04 AM
I got a neighbor that has a 113 w/graphite frame, made in the US... I have a quick question... Will the SS gear sleeve and 113H gears fit the bridge on this reel...I can get it reel cheap and thought it would be my next learning project ... I would want to upgrade the drags, dogs, gear sleeve & gears.

Unfortunately no.  Different internals altogether.   But I can create a 7 stack for that reel if you have steel gears.

Thanks Brian, I would assume then the side plates are different as well.

Totally different. You can use the graphite frame on a 113H but that's about it. I love the black Senators though. With some upgrades it makes a fantastic bottom fishing reel.
