Old Striper spoons! You got Stripers in that river out back? Cast and retrieve, changing depth by counting down and retrieve speed and cadence as needed to hook up.

In our neck of the woods they work great for Spanish and Cero Mackerel, Kingfish, Barracuda, Bonito (Little Tunny), even smaller Wahoo and a host of other species. Spoons are some of the best time proven fish killers ever made.

Great spoons for stripers, blues, and weakfish. Can be cast or trolled and work extremely well as a trailer or center lure on an umbrella rig.

Cool beans...thanks guys.....gonna clean them up a little and start tossing them from the river bank....stripers are moving in the area and seen them chasing bait fish in the evenings...

Tarfu i have been using the pet spoons for sometime now.  The best way to use these spoons is not trolling or casting they work great when the river is higher and has a faster flow of water. In a boat find a fast flow of water near the bank about 5foot from the bank and anchor your boat. Make shure you put a pork rind with a hook on it, your spoon works much better with the pork rind and attracts more fish. Let the spoon out tell the rod stops bouncing and then bring it in until it starts bouncing again that's all it takes. Then kick back and have a few Cervesas and wait for the takedown
