What's the difference between the Tan and the Purple drag grease?

The tan is the most used for all round conditions.

The purple is a lighter grease and recommended for colder climates.

Cheers.

Terry.

As Terry said the purple is supposed to be for colder climates - when I used to use it I couldn't tell any difference in performance :-\
I now use, and have done for some while, Mercury Quicksilver 2-4 C with Teflon. I use it for gears, bearings, drags etc.
