Title: Williamson Lures?
Post by: Reeltyme on June 04, 2021, 06:32:06 PM
Anyone familiar with Williamson Lures? I just bought and received 2 wall hanging fish plaques made of an earthen ware and on the back of each one is a sticker, see photos. Just curious.

Well I am in South Africa, the name is familiar to me, but I thought it's an Australian make. :-\     Maybe someone from down under will comment.

Seems like I am wrong, did some searching and came across this site  https://ryanwilliamson.fish/pages/150/about-ryan.   Seems like Wompus Cat is correct.

I also looked at Australian sites and notice that these lures are very popular there.

I have several of their "Vortex Jig" lures, brand new.

I have seen some big knife jigs this year by that name from the Penn rep Steve Carson, though primarily for SJP fishing. I have seen posts that the BFT are hitting them in San Diego
