Title: Neat tool for making washers
Post by: Cone on November 07, 2016, 04:54:43 AM
I ran across this on You tube. Its meant for jewelry. I have no idea what it costs. My guess is it isn't cheap but some may find it useful for custom drag washers. You be the judge.   Bob

$200 for the disc cutter and $59 for the centering guides on Amazon

I would love to be able to cut metal washers but they're using very light material.  I wonder if it can cut a thicker stock and stainless.

Interesting  but a bench press and wad cutter set would work out far cheaper and be more flexible. Steve when I checked their website it indicated that its prime use is for jewellery. They also stated that it would cut sheet  silver up to 1mm thickness (i.e. soft metals). It would still be fine for smaller cf washers.
