I booked with Capt Carlos Bastos of the Bottom Up out of Tarpon Spring, FL for 3 or 4 days for gag grouper during Thanksgivings.
When water temperature cool down gag move into shallow water.
They usually fish gag in 10' - 20; water at this time of year.
We are going to try plugs for gag in shallow water. Popping grouper in shallow water is popular north of Tarpon Spring. But I believe it is the first attempt from Tarpon Spring and south.
Capt Carlos got a few nice gag on Al Gag jigs a few days ago.
