Title: Newell 300 series handles
Post by: monkutare on September 20, 2018, 05:27:59 PM
Any new suggestions for replacement handles for the Newell 300 series? I do like the aluminum armed OEM handles but they are hard to find.

Adan at Motive fabrication on here makes some nice ones in titanium,I believe Mr Tani has something as well. You can use the handle off a gold shimano trinidad if you want offset but you'll need to file the hole a little.
There's a bunch of knock off newell blades on the big auction site that don't cost too much also.

I put the middle handle arm [Titanium]on a R 533 with SS Star. The owner said that it looked & worked great.

You might want to inquire with Randy "vintage offshore tackle" with the 300's

It's from a gold Trinidad. Takes a little careful filing to fit the gear sleve
