Lee Marvin was a fisherman, as was Martin Milner (Adam 12).  In the early days of the "Let's Talk Hookup" fishing radio show Martin was a regular host.  There is a good story (that I cannot seem to be able to find) of the two of them (fishing and acting friends) "accidentally" taking a studio executives car to go fly fishing while working on a film together.  I think I have posted it before I will have to look. - john

Lee always seemed like
he would have been a good
guy to go fishing with
and maybe share a beer or
three.  :d  :fish

Lee Marvin was a BIG FISHERMAN!!!!

Lee Marvin once told a reporter 'I only make movies to finance my fishing'. For him, big game fishing was a spiritual and psychological obsession. His tally of thousand pound marlin ran into double figures. But before falling for the serious extremes of Australian waters he often fished off Hawaii.

Lee was a great actor and my kinda guy when it comes to fishing.  His work was to fund his fishing.  Can't ask more from a man than that!!!!!
