Title: Daiwa Sealine 350H
Post by: Norcal Pescador on April 05, 2010, 04:31:21 PM
Is the Daiwa Sealine 350H just a scaled-down 400H or 450H? I reviewed Alan's 450H tutorial and I want to know before I go inside. I bought it used, "completely rebuilt" at a tackle store in SoCal.

If it has Daiwa drag washers I want update them with 5+1 HT-100s. Can this be done with off-the-shelf washers?

Thanks -

Rob

you need to retain stack height  measure thickness of washers you will find the ht 100's  thinner then the daiwa drags.

Thanks. That's why I figured on the 5+1 like what Alan did with the 450H. I just need to find out what size: for a Penn 112H, 113H or customizing.

O.D. - .936 in. / 23.77 mm
I.D. - .561 in. / 14.25 mm
Thick - .059 in. / 1.5 mm
They appear to be carbon fiber and match the parts key along with the metal washers (#48, 49, and 50).

Are you referring to key #46 or #51? They both appear to be stainless and in good shape.

Now at least I know what to order when the time comes. Thanks!

Drive gear washer (key 46) rust-colored bakelite? looks good, no apparent wear. It looks like the one in the foreground in your 450h tutorial picture of the originals to get rid of. I hope we're talking about the same washer.
