Hello All,
Some of you may have seen the Facebook post that the 112H aluminum plates are finally on the mill!
I need to get a pulse on the new plate/old plate quantities. I will be making both.
Sal is sending me a 112H double dog bridge to see if I can make it drop into my plates... no promises yet.
So how about you all chiming in on colors and quantity of each style.
Thanks!
Tom
Sweet! I'll be needing a set each new style, green and electric blue. Thanks for doing these for us Tom!
John
Tom, I need 2 sets of the new style, 1 red, & 1 black. And 3 sets of old style,2 in ice blue.
Are you going to do purple?? 1 purple new style. Rudy

Mike
I'm in for a set of new style, My frame kit is dark green from tiburon but I'm thinking you won't be doing that color. Black would be good or silver. Thanks
One set old style blue and one set new style green...
Cool
Maybe we can get Tom to make some stainless dogs for the 112h also.
Mike
Nice Tom!
Purple new style would be awesome.
.............Thanks, .. Lou
Great news, Tom!
I'm in for one red new style and one purple new style. This is super exciting as it's the reel I use most now a days.
Thanks for doing this for the AT crew,
Dom
One set of red new style for starters
Thanks again for making these happen Tom
Ted
I have a question. What is the difference between old and new 112 H?
Joe
The design is the same as the 113h new & old style. The new style frame has a recess in the right & left sides of the frame that can take original style plates without the inner rings & Tom's new style plates. The step in the plate recesses into the frame. The early style frame is completly flat on the sides of the frame to take original plates with the inside rings or Tom's old style plates which have no inner step. Rudy
I'll take 2 new style plates in red please 🤙
This is the 112H I have built.....................Joe
I will take a silver one!
Thanks
Juan
Joe, beautiful reel you built.....if you add Tom's side plates you would need the "new style" for that tiburon frame

Thanks, Ted
Hello Tom, I will take 1 Red and 1 Blue. Thanks.
Alright folks, I spent this morning inspecting all the plates and they came out great!
The only issue I found is that the Teal levers and plates are bit off in color match.
Each kit contains the following:
Left and Right Plates.
Two stainless steel bearing cups with o-rings and two ABEC-5 stainless steel bearings
Color matched Eccentric lever with o-rings and stainless steel washer.
Delrin eccentric sleeve.
Stainless steel clicker button, nylon washer, Penn dog, cir-clip, clicker spring, and stainless steel mounting screws.
10 stainless steel plate screws.
The price for these kits is $145.50 each, shipping included in the US.
I will give AT.com ohana first crack at these before listing them on my website next week. I'll use this thread as an order sheet and PM those of you that have expressed an interest.
Thank you!
Tom
Just sent my PM Tom,Great!
Joe
1 silver and 1 red , new style.
Really nice looking Tom.
Tom these 112 plates are nice. The anodizing is outstanding. It looks like we can double dog the plates without the special bridge also.
Mike
PM sent...
Cool
Got mine today and I have to say I think they are the sexiest plates yet and the best anodizing too.
The purple just about pops off the metal.
Thanks a bunch Tom,
Dom
These 112H plates are now available on the website.
Almost half my inventory went to you all here on this site!
Thanks for the business!
Tom

I didn't realize they were Tom custom-contoured...WOW.....
me either, amazing work, it would've been cool if the 113h have been that same way too, look like a signature contour
Finally got a chance to make me a red handle and assemble this kit:
Nice job on the plates Tom, I really like the new design.
Sal
Great job on the build, Sal. The handle really makes that reel POP!
I also agree on Tom's design being simply awesome.
The plates remind me a little of a Grice and Young from back in the day....

Love the new 112H sideplates Tom. Randy's kits and your plates are a match made in heaven. keep up the great work !!
Ted
Great work, Ted, sweet handle too!
The lines in Tom's plates line up beautifully with the tib frame.
Man, that handle is cool as hell... you never stop re-inventing your handles.
Nice build bud,
Dom
Wow Sal and Ted!!!!! Speechless!!!!!!
Peter
I don't know how I missed this post. Sal, outstanding look. I love the way you are customizing handles. Ted, that is a beauty with some new style handles. Keep on styling both of you. Dominick
Darin you have old style plates & the new style frame. Screws are not the problem. You have to get a old style frame for those plates. Or get a set of new style plates for the frame you have. Rudy
Did he make old style plates for a 3/0? All I see on his site is one style. Doesn't the kit come with screws? Problem might be the frame, mine went together fine but I was using Randy's narrow frame
Hello Darin,
It looks like I sent you the wrong plates. You did indeed order a new style set on Feb 13, 2019.
Send back those old style plates and I'll send the correct ones to you.

There are both old and new style plate kits on the website, you need to select the style from the pull down menu in the listing.
Folks, please contact me directly when you have issues. I don't monitor this site much anymore.
Thanks,
Tom
No worries, just posted here for help to figure out what my problem was. I'll send these back next week, Tom, thanks!
Also, thanks to all who chimed in to help me! Darin
Checked my silver plates and they were new style, so I was able to put it together today.
It has all the Pro Challenger SS goodies inside, including the drag kit and DD bridge. Sal
made me this handle awhile back for it and it's finally going to get some use. Thank you
to Tom, Alan, Sal and Randy for making this happen! Darin

Awesome build Darin!!
Looks really nice, liking the silver and black with that handle.

It's a long shot but does anybody have red plates they want to sell? It's out of stock right now on the website.
Any plan on making these kits again? I would want one in silver. Very nice!!! Thanks
Looks like there's still plates in stock, Randy can get you a frame and spool I think, would be standard size though not narrow. Heck of a reel if your'e considering it
