I was looking for ceramic bearings for my 631. All I found were boca bearings for a 646. Is there a difference or will these fit? The dimensions they mention are
"QTY.2:SR166C-2OS #7 LD (3/16 x 3/8 x 1/8 mm)".
Hi Bill and welcome.
Can you pull your bearing cap off and measure the bearing? I am unsure if they had used different size bearings, but I think they were all standardized at 0.125 by 0.375 by 0.1875 (1/8 x 3/8 x 3/16 mm). I'm sure Newell Nut would be able to answer this one.

I just call Boca & tell them what you would like. They know the sizes for the Newell's.

I've kept a WORD document on my computer.
200 series: ID = .125 OD = .375 W = .156
300 series .125 x .375 x. 156
400 series
500 series: ID = .125 OD = .375 W = .156
(except 3.2 gearing) .125 x .375 x .156
600 series and 540-3.2: ID = .125 OD = .375 W = .187
.125 x .375 x .187
Thanks Tunacious.
Thanks for the info guys! So if I think they'll work. I'm just curious wy boca would specify the 646 model when they should say "600 series". I think I'll call them just to make sure. I should mention its a 631 4-2. Maybe that makes a difference?
I've also got the 631-4.2. All 600 models take the same size bearings, regardless of gearing. The 540-3.2 also takes the same size bearings as the 600 models.
