Hello from Australia. Does anyone know when production of the the subject reel was started. So far I been unable to get anything from the net.
Interesting quality reel.
Made in Japan.
Small drags like 155 size.
Mid 70's.
If you are going to fish it -- pick up another one for parts -- they are not that expensive -- and parts are between tough and impossible -- due of course to Ryobi not producing fishing tackle anymore.

Thank you very much for the info. The reel has never been used and is still in its original plastic bag and box with the handle unattached. I will just keep it the way it is.
