Title: U.K Hornsea advise request

I'll be boarding vessel at Royal Dock Grimsby tomorrow, anyone here can give me some clue of what I can expect to catch in that area?

Depends upon your destination. There is still some good cod fishing to be had in the North Sea.

you could try at the north end of hornsea beach in winter  in summer most lads go south  tunstall to spurn point  and fish for the smoothhounds & thornbacks  ill be trying Aldborough for the tope over the August Bank holiday weekend  as will  a few others fishing from there kayaks & Boats  should the tope not show then ill go and fish the wrecks for Pollack & cod   never fished Grimsby tightlines Alain

Thanks for the advise. I'm working offshore near some platform area, and its too cold and windy to do trolling at this season  :-[
