Title: Jvariance Reborn
Post by: Maxed Out on April 23, 2018, 08:58:26 PM

Stumbled onto a nice Jvariance yts and upon inspecting the spool to frame tolerance I decided the frame had to go. Having this much of the main gear exposed is unacceptable

.....I've had a special kit stashed for over a year. This silver tank top kit has custom seat and was a sample made by my machinist and I had it anodized long ago but never put it to use and figured this reel was good candidate. The new spacer bar completely covers the exposed gear.

It went from YTS to standard width 113H and is now ready to get wet

Ted, that's one of the best JVariance kit I ever saw, great job!
You could make anything look good, I love the color combination.
