Well last Saturday at my fishing club's lead pour I sold 5 rod and reel combos and the wife was very happy. Fast forward to today I stopped in a local pawn shop. Scored nicely on a Penn Intnl 965,975cs,Shimano Trinidad tn20 and tld star 2040. Got them all for under $400. Grabbed Krispy Kreme donuts for half off on the way home. Then to top it off I got home and the wife wasn't there to catch me sneaking them(the reels) into the basement. Life's good.

I dont suffer from that problem, my wife let me have all the reels I can hide ! :P
