Title: Penn 650SS saved by Fred (again)
Post by: sandbar on March 16, 2023, 10:00:09 PM
I've been meaning to post this for several weeks but my job has gotten in the way. Why am I still working at my age? That's another sad story.
This sad story took a turn for the better when Fred rescued me.
I purchased a very clean 650SS on EBay a while back and when I received it the handle was missing.
I worked it out with the seller so my total cost was $45. I thought that was pretty good until I tried to find a replacement handle. There were very few available and used handles were almost as much as what I had paid for the reel!
Fred bailed me out with a brand new handle at no charge.
Thank You Fred. Your generosity is overwhelming and much appreciated.
When things slow down I will open this reel up and post a few pictures. It feels really good. I'll be looking for the proper rod to pair it up with. 737D8CA5-F4FF-40D6-88BC-C14B0CD4D3CC.jpeg
