Title: Avet sx and Mx drags
Post by: jeff smith on December 19, 2019, 06:11:55 PM
Hi, Is there any way of changing the configuration and or number of the Belleville washers on the above avets to make the drag less harsh. Here in the UK, we don't need the high poundage drag numbers, and would prefer something a little more progressive in the drag department.

The softest configuration will be "()()." If the are already in that configuration and it's still too stiff, then you will have to carefully measure the original bellevilles and then go on line and find thinner bellevilles.

Thanks Alan, I'll open them up and take a look.
