While doing some reel maintenance, decided to swap out my drags with new ones (had an extra spool laying around, free replacement parts lol) and I got to thinking...I wonder if I can do carbon fiber drags. With some plundering through my parts I found that Penn 9/0 washers are a perfect fit. Seems to have a tiny bit more drag buy waaay smoother. Thought I'd share.

New factory washers beside the old ones, prob two years of heavy use.

New HT-100 drags. Ignore the two carbon ones, I was hoping I could fit more but it was too tall. Just use the same order as factory, with some Cal's drag grease of course.
