Title: Newer International Rod Clamp Screw
Post by: elnath on September 08, 2012, 01:08:29 PM
The newer Internationals use a square head bolt that slides into a notch on the reel stand (reminds me of the Diawa's).  The Penn part number is: 34-70VS.

Does anybody know where I might be able to get a longer set?  I find that they aren't long enough to go completely through a strikemaster clamp on a #4 unibut....

you may have to grind down a stainless steel bolt to fit that one......   :-\

you may want to try 34-130 they might be a little longer or larger diameter. might be easier to modify these.

I thought of that... I was thinking it's likely easier to grind bigger holes in the clamp and use extended nuts..... :)
