Hi Jeff,
I've just done my first strip down on two 113H's I'm pimping out and removed both bearings and cleaned them up.
From memory, it's easier to screw it back into the side plate first, carefully prize the retainer out first, I used  a wee hook tool, to pull it out, then used a dentist hook tool to remove the actual bearing. Another trick, is to use a flat head nail, hold onto the nail with pliers and slip the head of the nail under the retainer pull and it should just pop out, use the same for the bearing removal as well.
The retainer, has serated edges and is just pushed in after the bearing is replaced. It can be a bit stubborn to prize out, but it will come out.

hope that helps

Col

Thanks for this. Didnt have an extra on hand if I boogerd this one.

The serrated edge / splined edge had me wondering if it was some kind of crimped in place sort of thing... Jeff
