Title: Saltiga Epedition 6500
Post by: mickm56 on February 07, 2010, 02:28:39 AM
 ???   Gday Alan
I realize that you are more of a conventional reel man, but, I have a Saltiga Epedition 6500 spinner and I would like to swap out the stock drag washers for Carbontex. I have received the new washers, 5 in total, from Dawn but I have noticed that 3 are the same ie rough on one side smoother on the other and the other 2 are of the smoother grade on both sides? Are you able to explain what goes where and which side up if any?
Regards

she has to match the total height of the stock drag washers exactly.  to do that, she will mix and match different thicknesses of drag washers to get as close a match as possible.  the important thing to do is check the ID and OD of the washers, looking for subtle differences.  sometimes that can determine the order, otherwise it does not matter.  alan
