Title: ABU Ambassadeur 30?

Hi I just acquired an ABU Ambassadeur 30 that looks in new condition and I cant find much information on it. Is it rare? and would I be stupid to fish with it? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

No my father passed away a few years ago and  I just got around to going through his fishing equipment.

Those are nice reels, or i like to think so anyway. Interesting history. Usually around 200-300 bucks.
To be perfectly honest, you get a lot of hits and images and info if you just google "abu ambassadeur 30".

Hi Frank, the 20 & 30 are easy to work on, should be sound inside, maybe the drag mite need renewing, take plenty of digital photos as you dismantle it, & you will get it back together easy, cheers Don.
