My Phoenix. The reel had the handle broke in the main gear and the dogs were seized up. Thanks to Keith the reel is now better than ever.

Buttoned everything up. New handle from Keith. All new drags replacing teflon with drag. Then installed new style drag knob. Finished the package with 30lb big game.

Great Job on that reel Sharkman!
I don't have any 859's John. :P
Put the Natty down brother.
The 850/8500 is one of my Favorites.
I lean toward the 8500 with the beefier pinion.
A true penn classic.
Buzzing bees with Adam's Titanium ratchet and dogs. ;)

Hey brother it's Steamwhistle cause I'm in Canada but my spectacles broke and I can't half see anything in front of me lol. If anyone had an 859 it'd be you. Note that it would be right handed, being odd numbered 😎

Thanks Shark Hunter. Adams ratchet sounds sweet.
