Title: PENN 4500SS / 5500SS Handles on 450 SS / 550 SS Reels ???

Will Penn 4500 SS / 5500 SS handles interchange & work on 450 SS / 500 SS spinning reels ?

It depends, the handles should work but the handle pivot might not. The older gears had a left and a right pivot to change the handle from left to right. The newer gears use a stepped pivot and will unscrew from one side and screw on the other.

I never use the Handle Pivot, so that's not a problem. I'm just worried about fit & function . . . THANKS !
