I have a V40 reel with a spool bearing issue. I shipped it in early December to Temple City to have it serviced and saw it was refused and is being sent back. I have had two of these reels with spool bearings failed also tension washers failures. Does anyone have a cell number or and address for Pro Gear? The address I had was Las Tunas in Temple City. Very frustrated with Progear, 3 failure in two years.
If anyone can replace inner spool shaft bearing for this reel it is between spool and spool shaft pin. I modified a penn tension washer to correct the drag failure issue but need spool shaft bearings replaced with ceramic bearings if possible. Will ship and PayPal to get these ready for 2021.

If you don't mind shipping the reels off, I or Alan Tani could help. Regarding Ceramic Bearings, pure ceramic bearings, I'm not sure of the strength. I would stick with SS or Hybrids.
