Ok after 100's of Abu reels, I have one that is stumping me. Reel does not generate much drag. Like maybe 1 lb. It goes from nothing to 1 lb until the star bottoms out. Things that I have tried:
1. Spring washers replaced and even added more, no change
2. eared washers are in place
3. carbon drags stock
4. Added a drag washer, no change
Any other ideas?

Andy, is the star still bottoming out on the side plate? Seems like you could keep adding spring washers until you get the star up off the frame. Sometimes you can put a little more bend in them too. The gear sleeve (that silver collar spacer thing p/n 22105) might be worn down or someone might have shaved it down trying to get new drag washers to fit.
