I have an '70s era Daiwa reel i'd like to get working again. Some how over the years I've lost a bail screw. Anyone know of contact for OLD Daiwa parts?
Thanks in advance
Welcome , From Central Texas First Time Poster I have more than I care to admit ...lol
I think they are the same on both sides .Will get back to you in a bit later today .I prob have you covered just pay shipping .
If you will post a pic or let me know which side you need I will try and come up with one as it appears they are different.
I could use both. I lost the one I did have at Home Depot while trying to find something suitable. They kinda work but fear they will cause excessive wear of the bail.
Pretty sure I have found the Non Spring side but not the other .My parts are not in numbered Pristine Arrays like most folks .
I'm guessing the only difference is the length. Of the ones I got I can screw the one side all the way in but the non-bail side it rubs if I screw it in all the way. Going to cut it a little shorter. :-)
P/m me your addy and I will send the one I have but the Spring side is different I am pretty sure .
I have a parts manual some where on those and when I find it I will get you the actual numbers.
A lot of these models will interchange on some stuff .
From the search I did, the parts list for the screws are: 63616501 (bail holder screw) & 63616411 (arm lever screw)
PM to follow
Wondering if the parts I sent worked ?
It is has been Nearly 10 Months since I sent you the FREE PARTS for my shipping cost in which I have not received ,nor any conformation in regard to whether they worked or not . You have not been on the site since August 2 of last year .
But if you Can Not use them then just send them back as some one else may need them. A lot of things may have happened that you are unable to post or visit since July of 2021.
Here's hoping you just forgot to post back and nothing BAD Happened to you .
