Ha ha, low budget considering what could be spent on one.

First off cortez Classic Jigmaster 500 frame/spool kit.($165), Add one nice donor jigmaster 500 ($30), throw in a new lever ($18).

Transfer doner reel internals to Cortez head plate and ready for assembly. I did add new ht-100's

The donor reel provided all the internals, and the spool, handle, and star.

  Not bad for around $215
