Title: Newell Gear Availability
Post by: Mac53 on May 29, 2015, 10:05:41 PM
Anticipating future needs, does anyone have a 500 4.6 or 5.5 gear supplier.  I am hoping my inner thoughts are not correct!

Ulua Junkies has them listed but sold out. Contact them and ask when they will have more.

Roger that, but assuming they won't or can't get any then are we down to finding old reels or parts on e-bay?  Ulua can't be the only source for new 533 gearing, can they?

You may want to check Hawaii craigslist.  There are several local guys who have extensive stocks of Newell parts including gear sets.  Brian of Brian's fishing may have a few sets as well.

All of my sources are out except Shane.  He has a full sideplate with gears (used) for $150 I believe.
